The Great Pottery Throw Down

Yes our favourite pottery programme has returned for another series on Channel 4.

The Great Pottery Throw Down is filmed at the Middleport Pottery where twelve contestants battle it out to become Britain’s favourite home potter. So far the programmes off to a great start showing some fantastic makes already!

This year I’ve decided to challenge myself each week to make something connected to the show’s theme. As I’m not a thrower I’ll be hand building my creations and sometimes show you an alternative way to make.

  • Episode 1- Saw the group of potters throw a cheese set for their main make and port chalices for their throw down quick challenge.

  • Episode 2- Architecture & Bricks. They Slab built a 3D building and hand-built bricks.

Every few weeks I’ll share my challenges here and on my social media accounts.

If you fancy making something at home check out my Pottery At Home Kits.
