New Pottery Studio is now Open
After a few days of moving everything i’m pleased to announce the new pottery studio is ready to open. I’m still situated in Works 57 in Sheffield S8 but its bigger and better than before. Loads of space and extra light. The layout reflects the social distancing rules so everyone can move around feeling comfortable. There’s even a Perspex learning screen so face masks don’t have to be worn during a lesson.
Pottery classes will start from Saturday July 11th with a new range of hand building skills to learn. Initially they’ll be taught on a 1-2-1 basis (or up to 4 people from the same household or ‘support bubble’). You can see the classes available here.
As there is now more space, there’s a separate glazing and throwing zone. I don’t currently run throwing classes but i will be hiring the wheel out as part of an ‘open studio’ scheme.
